FLT Counterbalance and Reach Driver

Irlam (M44)

Monday to Friday

Rotating shifts : 06:00 -14:30 and 09:30 - 18:00

Rate of pay: GBP11.05ph

Overtime is up to GBP17/h

****TEMP TO PERM position for the right cadidate/FLT licences required****

The Role/Responsibilities:

As a FLT driver, your main duties would include:

?? loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as lorries or vans

?? performing other warehouse tasks like picking, packing and despatch

?? moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility

?? stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following stock control instructions

?? checking loads are secure

?? stacking empty pallets

?? performing daily equipment checks, for example recharging the truck's battery (if the truck is electric)

?? helping to load and unload trucks by hand where necessary

The Candidate/Qualifications needed:

To be successful, you need to:

?? have previous experience in operating Reach and Counterbalance truck

?? have a valid license/certificate to operate FLT trucks (Reach and Counterbalance): RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent

?? be punctual and reliable

?? be able to organise and prioritise workload

?? be computer literate

?? have good numeracy and literacy skills
