Verus Recruitment Partners are pleased to be supporting a growing family business, based on the borders of South Yorkshire and Derbyshire who are integral to the success of many catering and hospitality businesses across the UK.

The successful candidate will be proactively engaged into finding new business opportunities, be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combination thereof. Tasks may involve project management, strategic planning, sales support, service application, logistics, and marketing.

The role:
Job Duties:

Generate sales among customer accounts, including upselling, cross-selling and tapping into additional revenue opportunities.
Responsible for working with the sales team to on-board and integrate new customers and developing existing customer relationships.
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customers.
Responsible for keeping current customers satisfied and delivering exceptional customers service on a day-to-day basis.
Make sure customers receive requested products and services in a timely fashion.
Identify opportunities to grow business with existing customers.
Coordinate with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service.
Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in-person meetings. About you:

Proven account management or other relevant experience.
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Some marketing experience with agency background desirable.
An understanding of digital media including the use of social media, digital marketing and an interest in website development.
Excellent time and project management skills. You're always looking to improve inefficient processes.
Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines. What's in it for you?
