GBP17ph - GBP18ph (Dependent on experience)
The Client
Our client has over 20 years' experience in delivering high profile, high impact, live events, exhibitions and experiences to world famous brands and organisations around the globe. Operating from a 20,000-sq. ft. fully equipped joinery facility in South Yorkshire, they combine the latest technology and vast experience to provide an individually tailored service which creates value for our clients around the world.
The company currently require an experienced Bench Joiner/Cabinet Maker to join their expanding team. You will be working as an integral part of this dynamic and exciting business, where they design, build, and install bespoke joinery products for their clients. The business is well established and ambitious to grow further, therefore this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Able to be a team player with good people skills
* Meet deadlines, having an eye for detail and a flexible approach is essential
* Always organised within your own environment
* Initiative, problem solving, adaptability and multitasking are also essential
* Experience in working to production drawings, produce cutting lists and using basic machinery - table saws/edge banders
* Knowledge of soft/hardwood
* Knowledge of Corian and Laminate (desirable)
* Full driving license
Key Experience / Qualifications
* Minimum 2 - 3 years' experience working in and around the industry.
* Fully skilled, City and Guilds in Joinery or time served.
* Fluency and proficiency in written and spoken English
In addition, the candidate must hold a valid passport as international travel will be required on occasion, but most of the time you will be based out of their head office in Doncaster.
