Working on behalf of our manufacturing client based in St Ives we are seeking a Machine Minder on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a manual role and will require you to be of fit heath and it will be working the day shift.
Start: ASAP
Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Mon to Thurs 8.00am to 4.00pm and Fri 06.00am to 1.00pm, 40 hour work week
Hourly Rate: GBP8.72 per hour+ holiday pay
Duration: Temporary - Permanent
Duties will include:
* Feeding bathes of raw materials into machinery
* Operating production line equipment including conveyor lines
* Loading goods onto pallets ready to distribute to the warehouse
* Reporting of faults to line managers
* Checking quality of products after process has been completed
* Packing of goods for the warehouse
* Keeping the factory production area clean and tidy whilst working
* Working in small team of people, will be trained on a variety of machines over a period of time.
Key skills and attributes required:
* Previous manufacturing / factory experience
* Ability to work flexible shift patterns
* Of fit health for loading materials
* Strong work ethic and desire to progress
* Ability to follow instructions
