SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a HR Assistant to join their existing team
A generalist role to support dedicated business areas, with their day to day HR operational needs throughout the employee lifecycle.
This will include administrative and project support to key areas in the business and to the HR Manager.
Key Accountabilities
Support dedicated business areas with recruitment administration and activity, including assisting managers with adverts and job descriptions; processing applications; scheduling and attending interviews.
Advertise and monitor recruitment vacancies on internal and external websites in the UK.
Carry out employee Right to Work checks ensuring compliance with UK legislation.
Complete incoming and outgoing reference checks.
Coordinate and lead employee inductions.
Arrange new starter photographs for Entry Passes and the HR Database and coordinate new starter announcements on Workplace (UK).
Coordinate graduate and work experience placements.
Issue contractual documentation and new starter packs.
Maintain and update all files with employee information, including e-files and HRIS (Cascade).
Oversee the Employee Leaver process liaising with necessary parties, i.e., IT and Payroll.
Working with dedicated business areas to coordinate employee training needs and arrange training courses when necessary, including Wellbeing events.
Work with the businesses legal support advisory team to resolve any potential high level employee issues.
Support the HR Manager with Employee Relations processes such as, but not limited to, Absence Management, Disciplinary, Grievance, Redundancy.
Monitor the ILMS Security training and LMS platform monthly.
To advise BUPA on starters and leavers monthly.
Support the ongoing growth of key change areas for the organisation including diversity, equality and inclusion, health and wellbeing and staff engagement.
Participates in advancing goals in which people from all backgrounds and experiences feel connected, included, and empowered to address the environmental and organizational challenges in alignment with the company values.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships, internally and externally.
Assist the HR Manager as and when business needs dictate.
Assist with any ad-hoc additional responsibilities and general tasks as required by the business
The candidate:
HR Degree, CIPD or equivalent with proven generalist HR experience in UK Employment law.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral
Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Human Resources Information Systems (Cascade).
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines with meticulous attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently or and a part of a team.
Interviews will be taking place week commencing 16th August 2021
Salary: GBP27,500pa
