The Head of Commercial Contracts Role:

As a authority in your field and lead in the business, you will be the go-to resource for all legal commercial contract matters – reviewing, drafting and negotiating with clients, suppliers and partners. You will provide advice, guidance and support to the business on commercial matters, contract terms and legal issues whilst ensuring the business meets all its business, legal and regulatory obligations.

The role also demands close commercial management and monitoring of live agreements (including HR & staffing contracts) and the collaboration with colleagues to develop contractual frameworks for new services.

About You:

+ Entrepreneurial flair with a great commercial head
+ Customer centric – You know what it takes to retain and win new clients
+ Qualified legal status e.g. law degree, LPC, GDL
+ Extensive experience across commercial agreements, preferably in the B2B IT & Technology services industry
+ Good knowledge of contract law
+ Excellent negotiation skills – you have the skills and knowledge to facilitate positive business outcomes whilst maintaining positive relations with customers and suppliers
+ Sound business judgement
+ Adaptable and able to work flexibly in the context of a large growing business; approachable and a team-player, works with others to share knowledge and workload appropriately.
+ High level of attention to detail
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate in a simplified way complex agreements to key stakeholders, clients / other external parties
+ Tech savvy
