The PMO Consultant opportunity:

The purpose of this role is to provide Financial / Commercial support to Programme / Project Managers to contribute to the successful delivery of Programmes / Projects to budget.

About you:

At least 5 year experience of working within a Finance Environment with an understanding of Financial Management processes required to support Programmes / Projects (Budget Management, Actuals, Forecasting, Invoicing, managing 3rd party POs / invoices).

A high level understanding of Change Control processes within Projects and translating into budgets.

Experience of working with people from all levels of the organisation, including working on client sites

+ Ability to work unsupervised and using own initiative as part of a Programme / Project Team.
+ Organised with the ability to manage own workload to ensure all deadlines are met.
+ Approachable and able to deal with multiple requests at the same time.
+ Experienced in using Excel to an intermediate / Advanced level.
+ Excellent attention to detail ensuring information from multiple sources are aligned.
+ Ability to build working relationships with Programme / Project Managers to gain trust.
+ Flexible with a “can do” attitude, to work in sometimes challenging environments.
+ Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to consolidate & convey information to various audiences.
