£42,538

 

18 months temporary contract (happy to talk flexible working)

 

Based in Congress House, London WC1B 3LS.  During the recent lockdown, many TUC staff have been working from home/remotely. We are planning a phased return to more office-based over the coming months in line with government guidance on safe working and are happy to explore flexible working. 

 

We’re looking for a temporary policy and campaigns support officer, to support the work of the Equality and Strategy department and to link with Rights, International, Social and Economics department.  This role is to specifically to assist the antiracism task force, to liaise with RISE and also work across the equality team to support its’ objectives.

 

What Experience, Skills, Knowledge and understanding do you need?

  • You’ll be experienced in undertaking analysis of equalities, social and economic data or other information and writing briefings, reports, blogs or similar materials
  • Excellent project management, delivery and engagement skills
  • You’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills including ability to network effectively with a wide range of partner organisations
  • good knowledge and understanding of key issues for the TUC’s equality work including current issues in trade unionism and equality and diversity
