IT Security Engineer | Bristol,free car parking (easy commute of Bath / Newport)
We are seeking an IT Security Engineer to join a dedicated IT Security team within the IT department of a multi-site organisation within the healthcare sector. It is likely that you are a good alround IT Engineer who has started to develop his/her IT Security interest and skills and want to build upon these.
Firewall experience is essential (Sonic Wall preferred), as is operations support, troubleshooting and analysis of perimeter and endpoint security systems such as:

* Antivirus, Threat detection (McAfee)
* Firewalls and Remote Access Appliances
* Encryption
* DLP
* Email security
* Secure Web Gateway
* Events Monitoring
* Secure Data transfer
* Secure remote access/VPN
* Secure deployments/patching
In a small team, part of your role will be to deal with potential malware and managing threats. This is an urgent role so please apply with your CV for a full job description. Very occasional data centre visits and site visits will be necessary.
Salary is dependant upon experience and a flexible benefits package includes basics of 25 days holiday and a pension. Please note that a DBS check will need to be completed.
