We are currently recruiting a newly created QSHE Manager position for a market-leading manufacturing and repair business.
Client Details
Our client is a privately owned manufacture and repair business with over 40 years of experience in their field. Their Dudley manufacturing and production facility has c.50 personnel on site and the QSHE Manager will be responsible for all matters Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental. The successful candidate will have an expertise in developing management systems including IS) 9001 and, ideally, ISO 17020.
Description
- Maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 17020:2012 accreditations in conjunction with industry-related standards
- First point of contact with customers, providing timely response to complaints and non-conformances
- Perform risk assessments
- Lead small team of two administrators and 2 service engineers
- Ensure all HSE requirements are met and operations including training and non-training conform to legislative requirements
- Manage the internal auditing process within the contexts of behavior and operations ensuring all audits are completed in line with internal auditing program, reviewing conclusions and report recommendations for improvement
- Create and maintain management procedures in line with the Divisional IMS
- Provide compliance advice, expertise and guidance to stakeholders supporting their business objectives. Ensure the dissemination of compliance specifications, procedures, standards and related materials
- Change management and the continual review of the systems and processes to support information transfer and skills and competence assimilation
- Engage with stakeholders to implement robust processes, protocols & procedures
Profile
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001
- Manufacturing background with experience in performing risk assessments
- Comfortable with problem resolution activities following customer complaints
- Knowledge of fire resistance legislations
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain objective when critically evaluating operational audit performance
Job Offer
Salary for the successful QSHE Manager is from GBP40,000 - GBP45,000
