Stock Team Leader - Grantham
Shift Pattern - Tuesday to Saturday - Days
Stock management and control is an essential part of our operation. Ensuring we have stock in the right place, at the right time helps keep our customers happy. Stock Team Leaders are a critical part of this team - you've got to be inquisitive & unafraid of asking questions, bright, enthusiastic and with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Report directly to the Stock Manager
It's a vital role, and it can be hard work, but our Stock Team make it look easy!
The role includes:
Accurately storing and recording information
Managing and motivating a team of personnel
Ensuring that stock is in the correct place at the right time to deliver customer orders
Provision of training and direction to team members where required
Communication of KPI's to the team and ensuring that these targets are met
Working with our Customer service Team
Ensuring compliance with Export regulations
Maintaining effective working relationships within the Export part of the Business
You'll have:
IT skills and knowledge of Excel & Outlook
Health and safety savvy and able to use warehouse equipment
Attention to detail
Flexibility with working hours
In addition, you should demonstrate initiative towards making positive improvements and attention to detail as well as being able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
You'll live and breathe Customer First, and you'll enjoy working as part of a team with a dedicated focus on results. You will be resilient - able to stay positive in difficult situations and you will naturally embrace an inclusive working environment and be committed to doing the right thing
