CSS Recruitment & Training are looking for a Maintenance Operative for our client based in the outskirts of Brandon, Suffolk.
As a Maintenance Operative, you will be fully responsible for delivering work to a high standard of safety and quality on various residential and commercial properties and grounds.This can include general residential and commercial property repairs, residential house and farm building refurbishments, brick and block laying, painting decorating, roof repairs, various plumbing, kitchen and bathroom installation and repairs, fencing and groundwork including drainage and sewage systems.
This role requires being on call on alternate weekends to cover emergency repairs on residential and commercial properties. You may also be required to lead the team and/or projects when the Maintenance Manager is on leave.
Please note this is a physically demanding role that will require work outside in varied weather conditions.
Essential qualifications/experience required:
Full UK Driving Licence.
Proven experience in grounds Maintenance.
Competent in using appropriate power tools when required.
Qualification in carpentry and/or brick laying.
Desirable qualifications and training:
JCB telehandler trained.
Trailer license (B+E).
GENIE trained.
360 Digger experience. Electrician experience.
Interpersonal Skills:
Proactive attitude.
Confident in dealing with customers.
Continuous improvement mindset.
Customer orientated approach.
