Our client seeks a Senior Security Engineer / Senior LogRhythm Engineer with the experience to build and configure LogRhythm SIEM solutions. You will be expected to play a lead role in the design and implementation of solutions to meet business needs while following best practices around security, cloud operations and infrastructure definition/evolution.

As the Senior LogRhythm Engineer / Security Engineer you will responsible for the configuration, deployment, and management of the customer's SIEM solution in a 24/7 environment. You will monitor, deal with configuration changes, manage log sources and update the software for the client SIEM solution. You will also troubleshoot and diagnose cyber defense infrastructure and application anomalies and work through resolution.

Candidates will work closely with Cyber Defense Analysts as well as Solution Architects where you will act as the Subject Matter Expert, supporting the SIEM design and implementation, offering your expertise to ensure the solution is fit for purpose.

Previous experience with LogR SIEM components is essential. So too is sound knowledge of operating systems and system administration (Windows, Linux) including good command line skills. Experience managing infrastructure with public cloud providers in particular AWS.

This role would suit a self-motivating individual with strong problem solving and analytical and decision making capabilities. Someone ideally able to understand and assimilate clients' views, concerns and internal issues. You will have excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communications skills.

Candidates must be security cleared or willing to go through the security clearance process. This is a flexible working environment so candidates can work from both home and the office, although some tasks do require you to be in the office owing to the nature of the work. Therefore you will ideally be located within a sensible distance of Malvern which is commutable from Worchester, Cheltenham, Gloucester and Kidderminster. However, as you won't be required in the office every day, possibly Bristol or southern areas of Birmingham
