We are working with an incredibly popular family run resort, seeking a new Assistant Food and Beverage Manager with speciality in conferences to join the professional team of staff that make this resort so successful. Situated midway between Cambridge and Milton Keynes, and set in 380 acres of rural countryside, thrives the largest, independently owned business and leisure destination in Northern Europe.

As Assistant F&B Manager you'll oversee and be responsible for the smooth day to day operations of the department as well as acting as Duty Manager for some of your shifts. You will also be responsible for working with the management teams and People Team in ensuring excellent training and standards are maintained at all times.

The right candidate:

The ability to engage and motivate the team.
Excellent communication skills with both customers and team members.

Conference and Banqueting experience essential
Knowledge of overseeing a department, writing rotas and F&B systems.
The ability to delegate tasks and prioritise your own workload.
Flexibility to work on a rota basis across seven days a week.
The ability to think on your feet, respond quickly and problem solve effectively.
The ability to cover duty management shifts.
The ability to complete tasks efficiently and in timely manner.
