JOB TITLE: Customer Support Specialist


RESPONSIBLE TO: Customer Support Manager

Overall purpose:

To drive measurable improvements in the customer experience and provide support to the Field based Commercial Team.

Main duties & responsibilities:

To support the Customer Support Manager in the development and motivation of the team with the intention of continually delivering the best the customer experience possible.

To work closely with the Field based Commercial Team in developing and optimising new revenue opportunities.

To support the Regional Commercial Manager in delivering excellent customer service levels. Develop customer relationships to enable customer retention and growth.

To ensure effective liaison and co-operation with colleagues across all areas of the business.

To work with the team to create innovative approaches to the development of new ideas and solutions to both problems and opportunities

To embrace the initiative to drive improvement in culture and brand awareness to leave the customer feeling that they are important.

Knowledge & skills required:

Commercially aware with a professional manner, excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Be able to make a range of decisions within established systems with regards to priorities and appropriate response to customer queries. Be confident to obtain customer approval of the company's products and services.

An ability to respond and reply to problems quickly and accurately, liaising with other departments where necessary.

Must be enthusiastic and have a passion to exceed customer expectation.

A need to be organised, analytical and methodical in your approach to problems, with attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. A flexible approach is essential to cope with changing priorities. Must be self-motivated with excellent time management skills
