Kitchen Manager
THIS IS FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR SOMEONE LOOKING TO SHOWCASE THEIR SKILLS!!
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Follow the budget established by the owners
- Ensure safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen
- Manage staff and delegate tasks related to meal prep, cooking and delivering food to diners in a timely fashion
- Monitor food and labour costs with cafe manager - Keep up with industry trends and create new recipes
REQUIREMENTS: - Real passion for working with fresh food
- Consistently producing and maintaining exceptionally high quality cuisine according to our specification
- At ease whilst working under pressure as part of a team, in an open kitchen environment
- 2+ years' experience as a Chef / Cook
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Dedicated to food quality and control. Strong knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards.
