Production Planner

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm
A forward thinking and ever-growing manufacturing company based near Maidstone are looking to recruit a Production Planner to join them on a full-time and permanent basis.
My client already has a great Production team and are looking for a real team player to join them for the long term. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within FMCG or the pharmaceuticals industry.
The role:
A diverse role which will allow you to demonstrate your knowledge and your professionalism.
Working within a fast-paced production team
Responsible for all stock rotation and supporting stock takes
Focusing on upskilling a range of processes
Liaising with relevant departments to ensure raw materials arrive and can be sampled in necessary timescales
Operating various machines and equipment to manufacture products to the correct product specifications
Investigate system errors and issues where possible
Assembling products and carrying out quality checks
Ensuring that standards are met within the Production department
Maintaining compliance against internal audit requirements
Record keeping of all production admin & record deviations electronically
Overseeing urgent orders to ensure customers' needs are met
Abiding to Health and Safety guidelines
Duties and skillset:
Previous Production experience
Pharmaceuticals or FMCG industry experience is desired
Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
A team player who is calm under pressure
IT literate; proficient on MS Office applications
A natural problem solver
Initiative; confident in bringing new ideas to the table
