Staff365 are on look out for a number of Furniture Assembly Operatives for our client based in Barnsley.
Details:
Static days - Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm & Friday 8am - 3.30pm
Total: 39 hours per week
Pay Rate: GBP10.50 per hour for the first 12 weeks
We also have shift work available:
Monday to Friday - 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm rotational paying GBP12.50 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Location: Barnsley, S72
Start date: 2nd August 2021
Duties:
Assembling cabinets
Working on conveyor lines
Quality checking of materials and finished products
Packing and taping items
Working with wood
Following instructions
Working on your own and as part of a team
Minimum daily requirements (production targets)Criteria:
Previous assembly/manufacturing experience - preferred but not essential
Hard working, reliable and punctual
Experience of operating and using hand tools
Experience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essential
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions
Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skillsPlease note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day to day duties.
