Customer Service Manager
Up to GBP30,000
12-month contract initially (to cover long-term sickness)
Monday to Friday - 35 hour week - 9am-5pm
Mixture of office based (Kings Hill) and working from home available indefinitely
32 days annual leave (including bank holidays) plus 1 additional carrot day if no sickness in a year

This Customer Service Manager role is managing a varied (in ages, longevity within the role and personalities) team of 10 who are all very passionate and committed to what they, and the company, do. This Customer Service Manager role will suit someone who has excellent people management skills and the ability to allocate and monitor a continually busy flow of work within a highly successful company who offer an excellent benefits package and friendly work environment.

Although this role is initially being offered as a 12-month contract, my client does not make a habit of letting good people go and are hopeful that there would be opportunities elsewhere within the business if this role does not end up going permanent.

The duties for this Customer Service Manager role will include but not be limited to:

Leading, motivating and managing the team on a daily basis
Managing and distributing the workload to the team
Investigating, actioning and responding to escalated and complex customer enquiries
Representing the team in a number of internal and external client meetings as required
Identifying and recommending actions to enhance the standards and systems required to continually improve customer service
Leading and participating in the performance management system
Holding regular monthly one-to-ones and annual appraisalsThe closing date for this role is Friday 6th August 2021 3pm with telephone interviews scheduled to take place between the 11th and 13th August and a virtual assessment day to take place on the 20th August 2021.
