The role Itself
General everyday HR duties including - Recruitment, DBS checks, Onboarding, Training & Development, managing performance, employee relations, policies and processes, leavers facilities, Safety, and Compliance
Maintenance and presentation of the premises and facilities to promote a positive and professional experience for learners, staff, and visitors.
Ensuring the company is compliant, safe, and has the correct policies and practices in place and that Health & Safety and regulatory requirements are being met.
Payroll (coordinate payroll through a payroll service provider)
IT (act as a conduit between our current IT support and company requirements)
Administration (ensure company documentation - policies, processes, forms, etc - are kept up to date in line with current legislation.
About you
HR qualification, or working towards Member of CIPD
Good knowledge of employment and safety legislation
Generalist HR experience
Health & Safety experience
This role is 30 hrs per week and the salary is GBP25k. The successful applicant may prefer to spread those hours over 5 days or do 4 full days.
The role is office based near the train station in Newbury
