An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global brand for a self motivated, talented Strategic Partnership Manager.
The Role
The employee will be required to deliver a first-class experience to our clients and their customers as well as to coordinate the operational delivery of onsite content and partner marketing campaigns. The candidate will work within the Content and Partnerships function and is expected to work with internal colleagues across multiple time zones. Naturally the candidate will interact on a high frequency basis with a wide range of UK based advertiser and network contacts to negotiate promotional campaigns, exclusive deals and identify new sources of revenue.
Key Responsibilities
• The Strategic Partnerships Manager will focus on content partners for one of our major banking clients, including but not limited to:
• Augmenting the cashback and coupon offers being provided.
• Sourcing exclusive closed group offers.
• Sourcing experiential content.
• Helping to source Card Linked Offers.
• Supporting the expansion into eGaming, charity and other relevant content categories.
• Supporting research into and negotiation of contracts with content providers, both direct and third-parties.
• Supporting the data analytics around content engagement and usage metrics to drive decisions regarding content sources to pursue.
• Building strong relationships with all key direct content partners and third party content aggregative, ensuring they understand the business model and requirements.
• Manage, monitor and negotiate commercial terms with all key UK content partners ensuring clients are on the strongest terms available.
• Administer a Content Calendar in accordance with briefs and guidelines as approved by the Client.
• Work in collaboration with all departments to manage and implement effective partner site content and marketing activity.
Skills & Experience
• Proven success working with and managing content partnership, affiliate network and advertiser relationships with the ability to carefully manage expectations and build excellent working relationships.
• Experienced in coordinating complex, multi-channel and data driven marketing campaigns.
• Excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
• Ability to work alone using initiative to coordinate content sourcing through to final implementation.
• Flexibility to work as part of a global team across multiple time zones, with meetings occasionally occurring outside of regular' UK work hours using web conferencing technology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• A strong sense of personal responsibility & accountability.
• High level of self-motivation and self-direction.
• Focus on continuous improvement, making our products and processes better.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Natural commercial acumen and driven by commercial results.
• Understanding that working as part of new team will require the ability to adapt and identify new ways of working to deliver results in the most effective & efficient manner.
• Experience in Partnership and/or Affiliate Marketing essential - within a promotions agency, employee benefits provider, affiliate network, publisher or advertiser.
• Highly commercial with the ability to understand and balance the commercial needs of the Client, the business and its Content Partners.
• Experience of working within a small, agile organization and able to work effectively with a team who may be remote.
• Educated to a degree level or demonstrable results in a similar role.
• Highly self-motivated, collaborative, keen attention to detail, ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Package
• 40K - 50K.
• 10% Annual Bonus.
