Sales and Quote Specialist
Through timely execution of quotes and by following up checks in the life cycle of an order as a marketer you will consistently provide excellent customer service, and at times have to creatively find solutions to maximise opportunities and to resolve problems and issues as they arise
You will work with Sales to clearly understand the opportunity and customer strategy behind a quotation. To issue a competitive and complete quote to the customer within set time lines and follow up opportunities with all parties including sales, suppliers and customers.
You will use the company CRM system as well as various other supplier centric systems to verify and collate customer data and ensure it's kept up to date, to maximise the opportunities and ensure consistency in quoting and follow up.
You will be driving specific supplier follow ups and programs for key manufactures for assigned regions and Negotiating better costs from the Suppliers/Manufactures
Issuing and managing Price increases/Resale increase to the customers.
In this role it is essential for you to be proactive, have knowledge of the market place, to be consistent in finding the best available resources to aid you in your role, build strong relationships with manufacturers, good time management and to be aware of the currency exchanges.
You will liaise with the Asset and Sales teams daily in order to deliver strategic and competitive offers to our customers which can be of very high dollar value.
This role is very demanding and you need to be able to make appropriate commercial decisions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
??Preferably be educated to degree level
??Has a high level of commercial awareness and business acumen
??Possess excellent communication and relationship building skills.
??An ability to organise, prioritise and has a proactive approach.
??Displays a sense of urgency and actions requests in a timely manner
??Is able to work alone and as part of a team.
??Enjoys working with high levels of numeric data & proficient in MS Excel
