Jackson Hogg are proudly supporting a well known global manufacturing business based in the Northumberland area.

Reports to: Senior Quality Engineer, Sales & Service, Safety

Purpose of Function

* Support the work of the Sales & Service, Quality Department relating to the Safety portfolio.

* Main responsibilities will be the co-ordination, internal/external communication, monitoring, documentation, reporting and timely closure of Field Actions.

* Support Customer Complaints.

* Support the Failure on Arrival process

* Provide admin support for other Sales & Service Quality tasks, as required.

Position Requirements

* A levels or equivalent

* Proven commerical experience in a customer related role

* IT knowledge: MS Office a requirement.
SAP, CRM & Track Wise, an advantage.

* Customer orientation.

* Track record of meeting targets.

* Good time management. Ability to organise and prioritise.

* Reliability.

* Technical aptitude / understanding.

* Empathy.

* Eye for detail.

Tasks and Responsibilities

* Electronic admin / filing of TSBs and related documents (x-drive folders & XL sheet).

* Communication to internal stakeholders.

* Collation of an accurate customer install base, in co-operation with Customer Services.

* Preparation, dispatch and filing of customer emails & safety notices.

* Tracking and filing of customer communications (e.g. delivery / read receipts).

* Sending reminders to customers for confirmations and/or return of product.

* Support customers by responding to their queries.

* Providing necessary info to Order Management for the ordering of parts. Following up their timely receipt.

* Logging and onward shipping of parts.

* Organising cost collector codes.

* Interfacing with Service re. availability of parts and Engineers.

* Regular monitoring of technical corrections' progress.

* On-going reporting on TrackWise re. customer communication and technical corrections' progress.

* Completing necessary training (e.g. TrackWise, product) in order to fulfil these duties.

* Management of the ISO 17025 QMS
