We're currently looking for a Production / Factory Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.

The Role
As the Production / Factory Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring products are of a high-quality, delivered on time and to budget and that Health and Safety is followed at all times.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will plan, schedule and review workload to ensure the quality and consistency of production remains high. You will work collaboratively with all departments to ensure timely production output and help develop a positive culture of continuous improvement.
Additionally, you will:
- Monitor, manage and drive improvement for all production KPIs
- Develop a high-performing, trained and engaged workforce
- Promote and maintain awareness and compliance of H&S and Environmental legislation
- Ensure all recruitment is carried out in accordance with company procedure
About You
To join us as a Production / Factory Manager, you will need:
- Experience of operating within the following management systems OHSAS 45001 H&S, ISO 9001:2008 Quality & ISO 14001
- To possess a working understanding of leadership principles and management best practice
- The ability to build a high-performance team
- The willingness to learn, improve and adapt
- To be competent in basic MS Office applications such as Outlook, Excel and Word
- A Production and/or Engineering Degree and/or to be HNC qualified
Previous experience in plastic extrusion related products would be desirable, as would Six Sigma training.
