Our client has a permanent vacancy for a HR Administrator to provide the Firm with support in all aspects of the employee lifecycle including culture and engagement. To assist the operational HR activity. To provide hands-on support to the HR and Learning and development team and the Firms teams as a whole. To support the implementation of HR Projects.

Duties and Responsibilities General HR Support

* Being a first point of contact for employees on any HR related queries.

Recruitment

* Drafting job descriptions for review, publishing and managing candidate pipeline.

* Working with the HR Manager, liaising with recruitment agencies, candidates and hiring managers.

* Assisting in developing our efforts to source direct and bring ideas to increase our direct sourcing efforts.

* Ensuring induction plans and induction buddies are in place for all new starters.

* Ensuring new starter forms are completed and are compliant in a timely way.

* Obtaining and checking joiner references, right to work documentation and other checks as appropriate.

* Assisting the HR Manager in trainee, internship and vacation scheme recruitment including careers fairs, assessments and onboarding.

Data Management

* Reduce manual administration processes and maximise use of the HRIS system and other systems, to make full use of their capabilities.

* Helping to drive engagement by end users with the HRIS system through education, communication and advocacy.

* Forming and maintaining employee records.

* Preparing and amending where necessary HR documentation.

* Reviewing and renewing company policies and legal compliance documentation.

* Reporting on HR metrics, such as turnover and absence.

* Assisting with payroll information, i.e. pension joiners, sickness. Learning and Development

* Adding new Starters and removing leavers from the LMS and other online resources.

* Monitor online induction.

* Management of the Firms subscriptions and library (online and hard copy) including ordering of learning materials and management of invoices.

* Manage the first aid training across the Firm.

* Assisting in the administration of appraisal documentation processes.

People Projects

* Assist in the upgrade of the HRIS System, testing and making suggestions for improvements.

* Assisting in the redesign of our performance management processes including the appraisals and PDPs etc.

* Updating all HR documentation to re-inforce values and behaviours.

* Supporting the review and updating of our HR policies and forms.

Additional

* Helping with various arrangements internally including reception cover, sundries ordering and ad hoc office administration tasks.

* Leaver administration including system updates, exit interviews and documentation.

Requirements

* Experience gained within a professional services environment (law or accountancy) is preferable.

* Knowledge and experience of HRIS data bases and their capabilities to reduce manual administration.

* Knowledge and experience of graduate recruitment process, assessment centres, recruitment fairs and direct sourcing of experienced hire recruitment.
