Salary: GBP25,000 per annum

Citizens Advice West Sussex (CAWS) is a registered charity and is a member of the Citizens Advice service. CAWS has six main advice centres in Crawley, Horsham, Haywards Heath, East Grinstead, Shoreham-by-Sea and Worthing, as well as several other locations across the community.
Through our national network, we give people the knowledge and confidence to find their way forward - whoever they are and whatever their problem. We are passionate about advice and know it can change lives, so our users and their families thrive.
In 2019-20 we helped over 33,000 people face to face, over the phone, by email and webchat as well as visiting our webpages. We help with everything from money issues to problems at work, housing to consumer rights.
Our users at the heart of what we do, by being accessible and providing a flexible multi-channelled routes to meet the needs of our clients. We work hard to make our journey seamless between channels but also between the services we provide.
The Role
Citizens Advice in West Sussex are looking for an Advice Supervisor to join their Core Service team in Crawley. You will manage the practicalities of running an advice session over three channels of access, support the volunteer advisers and ensure that our case records meet Citizens Advice quality standards.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone with excellent supervision and communication skills with good attention to detail. You will be self-motivated and well organised, with a minimum of 12 months experience of supervising and supporting a small team, made up of both staff and volunteers. You will be required to ensure that quality standards and targets are met, and that relevant policies and procedures are followed during advice sessions. Strong skills in monitoring, recording and reporting of data is required, as well as an ability to develop and maintain systems. You must also be able to undertake advice work as and when necessary.
