PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pest Control Technician based out of Manchester Depot of Local Government offices.
You will be working Monday to Friday days utilising a council vehicle during working hours and the general duties will be:
Working as part of a team providing a high quality pest control service, including sewer drainage and rodent control, to be carried out in accordance with procedures and guidance on specifications, quality standards and legislative requirements.
Undertake surveys, identifying and carrying out treatments/monitoring/proofing works against pests and vermin that are of public health significance, a nuisance or in connection with the services commercial requirements.
Carry out periodic surveys and inspections of buildings and land for the detection, recovery and safe disposal of discarded hypodermic needles, syringes and other sharps.
To undertake work as required for the programme baiting of highway sewers and drainage inspection chambers.
Must full UK driving licence and enhanced DBS Certificate
Hold a Royal Society For the promotion of Health Level 2 Certificate or equivalent in Pest Control
