Role: Production Supervisor DONCASTER
Location: Doncaster
Hours: 7:30am - 4pm Monday to Friday
Duration: Temp to perm
Job Purpose:
To ensure that the production department is running efficiently, Production targets are being met and to ensure that high levels of quality are achieved in conjunction with the Senior Production Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure paperwork, componentry & stock is checked for all batches prior to issue to the production booths
* Ensure booths are kept in work at all times
* Ensure the flow of product it optimised from receipt of stock into the warehouse, through the completion of the labelling process
* Ensure maximum output from production staff
* Ensure optimum production efficiency
* Ensure that highest possible standards of quality are achieved and maintained
* Escalate any occurrences of potential patient safety issues to the Senior Production Supervisor, Production Manager, QP or Quality Assurance Department
* Actively participate in problem solving for investigations, Events and Associated CAPA.
* Participate in any reasonable task requested by his/her Line Manager.
* Assist in maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
* Report to Senior Production Supervisor if GMP practices are not being maintained.
* Report to Senior Production Supervisor if stock is missing, out of date, damaged or dirty.
* Report to Senior Production Supervisor any problems hindering efficient and accurate practice.
The successful candidate:
* Must be able to work with others as well as on own
* Excellent attention to detail required
* Must be able to focus on the job in hand and not be easily distracted
* Good maths & English skills required to be able to read label instructions
* Supervisor / team leader experience required
* Pharmaceutical / medical warehouse experience is beneficial
* Previous experience working in a goods in / production is beneficial
