The Role: Planning Administrator
Reporting to: Senior Planner
Location: Bedford Logistics Centre
Overview: Responsible for the efficient handling of all incoming customer calls and administration of logistics tasks.


• To check all supplier O.A.'s against P.O.s against checklist.
• Regular communication with suppliers on all scheduled deliveries.
• To book all appropriate couriers / vehicles for the onward delivery of customer orders
• To act as first point of customer contact:

- General enquiries / issues
- Delivery dates
- Supplier issues
- Post installation issues
- Warranty issues
- Sample Requests
• To check all returned delivery notes:
- Unclear delivery: raise new purchase orders and process all paperwork to replace damaged products (replacement order)
- Clear Delivery: File all relevant paperwork
- Escalate specification issues directly to sales
- Update the weekly Delivery Schedule
- Update Issue Log
• Undertake all daily role specific routines.

Due to the changing nature of our business, your role profile will be continually updated to reflect those activities the business requires to be carried out. You will also from time to time be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within your capabilities, and as directed by your immediate Leader.
