Receptionist / Clerical Assistant

Based at Service Training Centre, Plympton.

Permanent Contact, 22.5 hours per week (0830-1300 Mon-Fri)

Salary: Grade 2 £18,933.00 (gross) pro rata equating to £11,513.31 per annum

Closing Date: 23:59hrs on Sunday 1 August 2021

We are looking for a Receptionist to cover our main reception area in our Service Training Centre in Plympton. You will be main/first point of contact for employees and visitors alike so good interpersonal skills and a professional and efficient manner will be required.

You should have a high level of self-motivation and the ability to multitask, working in a potentially demanding and busy environment.

Some of your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Welcoming visitors and directing to relevant departments, signing in and out as required.
  • Answering and redirecting phone calls to relevant departments
  • Sorting of incoming post and deliveries / arranging collection where appropriate.
  • Administering bookings/calendars for the Meeting Rooms at the Training Centre.

  8. An ability to work effectively on own initiative and as well as a member of a busy Team
