Our clients' Water Technical business is a team of Engineers, Modellers and Data Analysts providing Asset Management and Operational Strategy development, to our Water Industry clients to support business planning and delivery. This is an evolving industry, providing challenges and opportunities which require innovation, dedication and team work.

Clean Water Engineers support delivery of various technical activities ensuring projects are delivered to budget, time and quality standards from conception to completion over a broad clean water project portfolio.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise and advice to engineering investigations and solutions
Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor project tasks, and report regularly on project status
Deliver feasibility, optioneering and engineering assessment studies for water supply networks
Manage and manipulate large datasets, including time series data
Analyse water asset performance data and report findings
Analyse and report investigations and studies using QGIS, Power BI and other analytical tools
Provide support / technical assistance in the preparation of technical reports and documents, drawings and other project related deliverables
Review deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Ensure quality of deliverable outputs and compliance with standards, specifications and governance requirements
Support the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered to budget, schedule and quality standards
Manage own workload to meet time, and programme needs
Operate in accordance with the corporate health and safety, environmental and quality standards
Maintain strong and collaborative working relationships and interactions with clients
Attend and contribute to project meetings internally and with clientsQualifications

Degree qualified in a relevant technical subject
Relevant experience in clean water network engineering at either a consultancy or water company
Proficiency in MS 365 applications, advanced Excel and Visual Basic
Working knowledge of GIS Systems (preferably MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS).
Skilled in the manipulation and handling of large datasets
InfoWorks or InfoAsset experience
General understanding of the UK water industry
Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
Ability to apply engineering best practise principles
Ability to work within multiple disciplined projects
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Full UK Driving Licence preferable
Hold a valid EUSR National Water Hygiene Card desirable
Hold a valid EUSR DOMS (Distribution, Operations, Maintenance, Strategy) Card desirableBenefits
