We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join my Clients materials management team as a Supply Chain Assistant! This is for an exciting new managed healthcare services organisation, who will transform the delivery of interventional, support and facilities services.

Client Details

The working hours for this role will be 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday and is fully on-site in Guildford. Start date is ASAP and the position is initially for 12 weeks, however there is the possibility of extension.

Description

* Providing internal supply chain services e.g. receipts, distribution for materials management using computerised receipts, storage and/or bar coded data capture systems. Managing the stock inventory held in the Omnicell cabinets.

* Unpacking and checking delivered items against delivery/order information, taking corrective action, maintaining audit records.

* May hold and store ward/department stock records and replenish products in accordance with agreed procedures.

*Liaising with internal personnel and external suppliers on supplies/stock management/rationalisation/delivery, related issues.

Profile

Experience of working in similar environment of stock control, warehousing order processing and follow up
Ability to undertake physical/manual handling tasks
Adaptability, flexibility and ability to cope with uncertainty
