Mechanic Days or Nights
Job description
Our client a family run commercial garage is looking to add a Mechanic to their team. Our client has 2 shifts available working on either a Day shift Monday to Thursday or Night shift Monday to Thursday
Duties will include but not limited too
* Inspect, diagnose and rectify any mechanical and electrical faults.
* Repair or replace broken or defective parts.
* Able to work on all makes of vans - mainly code reading, servicing , mot repairs and brake work
* Working unsupervised in a dependable role
* Ensure that the company's health and safety policy and procedures are adhered to in relation to site operations.
* Working on Light Commercial Vehicles
Key Skills/Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years experience as a Mechanic
* NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance Repair.
* Experience in carrying out diagnostic repairs and fault finding.
* A full current driving license.
* Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.
* Good professionalism and ability to work as part of a team
Hours of work
Monday to Friday only covering 8am to 5pm Days
or
Monday to Thursday 12 hour shifts Nights
Position starting immediately based on successful interview process
