We are now looking for a Supervisor to join our team working on properties covered by Disabled Facilities Grants. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week.

The Role
As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of maintenance work carried out on our properties.
You will ensure that work is carried out in a safe and professional manner and keep the management team informed of progress, issues and problems. You will maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, resolving any issues quickly and effectively.
You will supervise all staff on site, manage holiday allocation and carry out Toolbox Talks, ensuring staff have the training and support they need to succeed and carry out work safely.
About You
To join us as a Supervisor, you will need:
- Proven experience and a sound track record in building maintenance and diagnosing remedial repair work
- The ability to train, motivate and develop others to deliver high performance and excellent customer service
- Knowledge of property adaptation to support diverse customer needs
- Competent IT and organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage agile teams
- A sound knowledge of the legal and Health and Safety requirements for residential building repair work
- Plumbing knowledge and an NVQ Level 2 or above qualification in plumbing and heating
- A CSCS Card (You will be required to obtain one once in the role if you don’t hold one)
- An SMSTS and/or SSSTS qualification (You will be required to obtain one once in the role if you don’t hold one)
- A full driving licence
A Health, Safety and Environmental qualification would be beneficial to your application, as would a construction or a maintenance related NVQ 2 Level qualification. An understanding of the social housing sector would be advantageous, as would project management skills.
