Gully Services seeks two additional operatives to work from any council depot although you will currently be based at Beverley Depot.  Working as part of a two person team you will be responsible for driving and operating a 26 tonne combination jet vac tanker to service the highway network and other contracts.

We seek experienced HGV Class 2 (LGV C) operatives to work on a daily basis as Gully (Drain) Clearing Operatives.  Duties will include scheduled cleaning of highway gullies, carrying out jetting and general maintenance and operation of other HGV Class 2 and 5 tonne vehicles.

You must:

• be able to adhere to existing service start times of 6am, Monday to Friday
• hold a full current driving licence (LGV class C) up to 26 tonnes or above
• have a Current Driver CPC
• understand driving rules relating to local government services
• be able to work regular overtime hours including nights and weekends and be part of various on call rotas which require out of hours attendance
• have knowledge of the council's health and safety policy
