Temporary HR Advisor

Page Personnel are partnering with a Public Sector organisation in Wakefield, who are actively seeking a Temporary HR Advisor to join their HR function on an initial 6 month basis. This is a heavily E.R-centric role with management of first-line and complex E.R matters including grievances, disciplinaries and sickness. Candidates are required to have availability to start immediately and have demonstrable ability managing varying levels of E.R cases.

Description

In a fast-paced and varied Temporary HR Advisor position, roles and responsibilities will include:

Providing timely and up to date advice on a wide range of complex HR issues, interpreting policies and procedures, pay & reward, national and local agreements and employment legislation
Lead on complex sickness absence management cases including terminations and proactive redeployment
Working autonomously to provide specialist advice and guidance on employee relations including complex casework
Support small scale TUPE transfers from tender to mobilisation and lead change management programmes
Support the delivery of HR projects for the wider organisation and support delivery of the Workforce Strategy and associated plansProfile

We're looking for someone with;

CIPD level 5 Qualification or equivalent HR experience is preferred
Specialist experience in employee relations, ideally up to and including appeals and employment tribunals
Experience of working within a HR service providing a range of advice and guidance
Public sector background is preferred
Availability to start immediately - ESSENTIALJob Offer

Salary from c.GBP25,000 FTE + Immediate start with remote working + Excellent sector exposure
