Temporary Purchasing Assistant - Leamington Spa - Upto GBP26,000pa - Immediate Interviews and Start
Chase and Holland are pleased to be working with a great manufacturing client based in the Leamington Spa area to recruit a Purchasing Assistant to work within their growing Procurement team. This is a full-time position, initially on a temporary basis but may become permanent. The role will suit an ambitious Purchasing Assistant with at least a years purchasing experience and keen to further their career.
Responsibilities of the Purchasing Assistant:
Buying a variety of products from an established supplier portfolio
Actively participating in sourcing for new suppliers as needed
Processing purchase orders to meet business needs
Managing suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery, performance, schedule, and delivery
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure agreed SLAs are achieved
Actively working with other stakeholders to identify and resolve any issues within the supply chain
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiencyHours:
Full time - 7 - 4 Mon - Thurs and 12pm finish on a Friday (Flexible)
Required skills & Experience:
Experience of working in a procurement or supply chain environment
ERP/ MRP experience / knowledge would be beneficial
An understanding of Microsoft Office as well as Computer literate and numerate
High communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
Process adherence and ability to work to tight deadlines
