Sessional Lecturer in Access to HE – Sociology, Social Work and Study Skills
Can you inspire the future generations of sociologists, psychologists, linguists, teachers and thinkers? Our team is looking for an experienced sociology teacher who may also be able to teach social work and study skills, to join a forward-thinking, well-resourced and highly productive team delivering Access to HE qualifications. We provide students with the tools and skills to get them back into education and into their first-choice university.

Our ambitious approach to highly practical learning results in our most recent graduates have gone on to study internationally recognised subjects at universities including Durham, Exeter, Reading, Kings, Cambridge, SOAS LSE, UCA and may more.
You will have an excellent proven track record of teaching, learning and assessment and development of Access to HE programmes with teaching of sociology and social science subjects - additionally, teaching psychology would be an advantage. You should have a current and strong understanding of curriculum opportunities and developments in Access to HE courses and ideas on how to enhance student experience.
As a key member of a diverse and highly skilled team you will have a strong ability to develop productive relationships with your colleagues, learners and new opportunities with external partners. Expertise in supporting learners at various levels is essential.
