About the role

As we embark on the next stage of our work with a strategy refresh and consolidating new practice and lessons learned from the pandemic, we are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager for an interim period.

You will lead on the delivery of the internal communications strategy that will enable culture change and put employee engagement at the centre of JRF and JRHT.

The role will provide effective, consistent, co-ordinated and trusted internal communications to all levels of the organisation and lead a wide range of staff engagement activities which are of a high quality and underpin the delivery of our strategic and business plans.
We are looking for a sound, strategic thinker who can lead a team to work collaboratively across JRF / JRHT. Your challenge will be to demonstrate effective communication, which is dynamic, influential, engaging and reaches all audiences.

About you

You will have a substantial experience in internal communications ideally in a complex organisation with up-to-date knowledge of best practice.

Your portfolio will demonstrate the management of a number of successful communication campaigns that have effectively delivered strategic messages and complex information to a wide range of audiences. You will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and proven experience using a range of channels and methods, including social and new media technologies.
