We are a respected family business based in Alton who offer outsourced financial services and are seeking a Trainee Accounts Administrator to join our small and friendly team. We are a highly reputable firm with international clientele. Working the hours of Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm or 9.30am- 5.30pm, we offer a salary up to GBP18k, study package free parking, regular social events and a maximum of 25 days holidays.
This is an exciting opportunity for an energic and career driven individual who is keen to start their career within an accounts-based role OR someone who has a significant interest in accounts and is looking for an entry level role.
As the Trainee Accounts Administrator your duties will include:
Sorting and filing of account management information.
Assisting with production of monthly accounts packs
Telephone answering and distribution of calls to designated person.
Filing and printing post/invoices.
Taking calls from suppliers and answering queries.
Setting up payments to HMRC and suppliers.
Any other ad-hoc administrative duties.
The ideal candidate for the Trainee Accounts Administrator role will be looking for their first office role within the finance and/or accounts arena. No experience is required but you need to have an interest in accounts and/or finance and be able to portray this. The long-term goal for this post is to build up enough knowledge and experience to have a portfolio of clients of your own.
In return you will receive a salary between up to GBP18K, full training and the opportunity to develop and gain a long-term career.
Candidates studying towards an accounts qualification such as AAT are encouraged to apply.
