Job Title - Customer Service and Office Manager
Location - Borough Green, Kent
Salary - GBP24,000 - GBP26,000 per annum + benefits
On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Customer Service and Office Manager to support the effective running of a busy company. This is an office based role, working Monday to Friday, from 8.30 am to 5 pm with a 30 minute lunch break. You will be reporting to the Operations Manager and will work with them, and the Customer Service Administrator to ensure service excellence at all times with our clients. In addition, you will oversee all office administration related tasks as well as supporting the Operations Manager with the general running of the office on a day to day basis.
The Role and Responsibilities:
* Support the Customer Service Administrator by answering the telephone when needed.
* Take ownership of all customer complaints, liaising with any relevant 3rd parties to resolve issues quickly and to our customers expectations.
* Update internal spreadsheets with incoming & outgoing stock, ensuring they are continuously up to date.
* Work closely with the Warehouse Operative to ensure service excellence at all times.
* Order stock with our suppliers to ensure customers needs are always met.
* Update the internal database with all customer activity (CRM).
* Support the Operations Manager with the day to day running of the office.
* Be responsible for all office administration including the ordering of stationary, consumables and welfare supplies.
* Manage the fleet of Company vehicles, to include timely repairs, servicing, MOTs etc.
* Continually look for ways to improve our service by reviewing and amending existing processes and implementing new ones.
* Be involved in company projects relevant to your role, as and when required.
* Any other reasonable duties.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
* A minimum of 5 years' Customer Service Management experience
* Good MS Office skills
* Great team player
* Excellent communication & organisation skills
* Ability to juggle numerous tasks at once, ensuring urgent tasks are prioritised
* Excellent attention to detail
* Previous office management, people management skills and H&S knowledge would be a distinct advantage.
The ideal candidate will be computer literate with sound attention to detail and great numeracy skills. They will also need to display excellent communication skills, flexibility and be a great team player.
