FEMALE TRAINING AND SUPPORT FACILITATOR - IVYBRIDGE AND PLYMOUTH

The DOVE Project are seeking a dynamic, flexible and driven person within our Inclusion and Training Programmes, supporting young people and adults with learning disabilities and autism working across both our Plymouth and Ivybridge departments. The role will include providing flexible support enabling small groups or individuals throughout the week, which will encourage people to be active within their own communities. We aim to develop the skills of the people we support, building confidence and self-esteem through a programme of meaningful activities.
The candidate will need:
* A flexible approach to work including night sleep-ins, evenings and weekends
* Excellent communication skills
* To be self-motivated
* To be reliable with proven organisational experience
* IT literate and understanding of basic Office applications
* To provide cover within other areas of The DOVE Project including Supporting Living and residential services when required
* To be available to provide cover at short notice
Knowledge or experience of working with people with autism and learning disabilities and a full, clean driving licence would be desirable.
This position will be an average of 35 hours per week.
Starting wage of GBP9.12 per hour rising to GBP9.30 on 1st June 2021
