Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a leading supplier on the outskirts of East Grinstead who are looking to recruit for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.
They are a growing business with a great company culture and workplace. This is a temporary opportunity with the vision to go perm.
GBP20 per hour depending on experience
Monday to Friday
Parking onsite
Temp to Perm
The role will require you to ideally be working towards/ achieved accountancy qualifications and advances skills in Microsoft Excel with a flexible approach to working with strong communication skills.
Please note: Must have previous experience using QuickBooks to be considered for the role.
Key responsibilities:
* Complete and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Assist with quarterly VAT reporting, ensuring compliance with all local HMRC legislation
* Assist with the production of monthly management accounts, including the processing of G/L journals, prepayments, accruals and fixed asset reporting
* Support the reconciliation and reporting of Inventory for the business
* Play an active role in sales/purchase ledger where appropriate
* Uploading and making payments
* Invoicing
* Adhere to all internal company policies and procedures, as well as local regulatory requirements
* Any other task as deemed appropriate by senior management
Essential
* Progressing through qualification such as AAT, ACCA, CIMA (Desirable)
* Advanced Microsoft Excel
* QuickBooks (Essential)
* Good attention to detail, analytical and numerate
* A flexible approach to working with strong communication skills
* Ability to work independently as well a part of a wider team, with a willingness to help in all areas as required
