Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Our client operates within ethe engineering and manufacturing sector on a global scale. They have a permanent vacancy for a Production Supervisor, working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. As well as performing day to day production activities, you will be responsible for the routine management of 7 Production Workers in your section.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Manage team performance

* Deal with holiday and absence requests

* Manage day to day activities for the team

* To observe Health and Safety regulations and instructions to ensure a safe working environment is maintained

* To ensure good housekeeping is maintained within production

* To follow company procedures and ensure that work is carried out to company standard

* To observe the quality procedures and ensure good quality is maintained. All quality issues are to be reported.

* To assist others when required

* To undertake other tasks which may be required from time to time

* To carry out job role procedures in an accurately and timely fashion

Requirements:

* Previous experience in supervising a team

* Component assembly

* Ability to read technical drawings

* Attention to detail
