Are you a software quality assurance and testing professional with experience writing and executing test cases for web and windows applications? Do you have knowledge of T-SQL and scripting? If so, the role of Test Engineer with us at Ascom may be the right fit for you!
The Test Engineer will be responsible for creating test cases according to Ascom implementation contract requirements and conducting automated and manual tests to ensure the software produced by our developers fits its purpose.
Your days will be filled with???
* Analysing and reviewing requirements, specifications and technical manuals to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
* Defining the correct test environment aimed at verifying and validating the software product.
* Executing test cases to ensure that product fulfills the software specifications (Integration Testing, System Testing, Component Testing, Free exploratory testing, Non-regression testing, Stress and performance testing).
* Identifying, recording, documenting and tracking bugs - communicating any critical issues to the Test manager.
* Investigating the causes of software anomalies.
* Clearing and directing communication with internal teams (e.g. developers and project managers).
* Participating in a cross-platform project and working closely with other teams.

And you are...
* Experienced in software quality assurance and testing, including writing and executing test cases
* Basic knowledge of test automation
* Basic understanding of T-SQL and scripting
* Basic knowledge of Medical Devices Regulations (ISO 13485, IEC 62304)
* Experience in the testing of Web Applications and Windows Applications
* Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an agile, fast-paced environment
* Experience with implementing IT in HealthCare environments
* Experience with Medical Device connectivity
