Our client, a leading application provider within the workflow, asset and building management industry, have an excellent opportunity for a Field based Service Engineer, with proven experience installation and service works, preferably in an electrical or technical environment to join them.

Location: Newbury and surrounding areas
Salary: Up to GBP28k per annum plus benefits

This role will involve working as a member of the Service Department, validating and installing remote wireless temperature monitoring systems on customer sites. You will also ensure that customer's requirements are satisfied, and that all relevant paperwork is kept up to date and to a good standard. You will be carrying out calibrations on Monitoring Systems equipment in various sites, sensor replacements on equipment in various sites, small installations of equipment in various existing sites and configuring the temperature monitoring sensors and hardware to ensure that all the hardware is functioning correctly, and remote IP communications are operational.

Other responsibilities include fault finding on the systems and rectifying faults found, on monitoring points, supervisor panels, websites and various communications methods as well as ensuring your stock spare kit is complete and available at all times.

Our ideal applicant will have/be;

Previous experience of installation and service works, preferably in an electrical or technical environment. Experience in temperature monitoring systems would be preferable.
Industry recognized electrical and or electronic qualifications, would be beneficial.
Possess the ability to learn new systems and adapt to new ways of working.
Self-starter with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
Ability to pay attention to detail and follow up in a timely manner.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Full UK driving license
