LNT is a proud Yorkshire based business in Garforth owned by the serial entrepreneur, Lawrence Tomlinson. The group is undergoing a significant amount of change and growth.
This role reports to the Group Finance Manager and works alongside the finance teams in the subsidiary businesses. It is envisaged that this role can provide additional support to the wider finance team at busier times of the year.
Key responsibilities including but not being limited to:
* Assist in preparing the group consolidation for LNT Holdings Ltd
* Individual companies and consolidated MI - preparation
* Assist in the preparation and submission of the VAT returns for the group
* Cashbook & invoice postings
* Set up of payment runs
* Maintaining intercompany and related party matrices
* Dealing with external audit queries
* Supporting key stake holders within the organisation providing financial support
* Ensure robust financial controls & processes are being followed
* Preparation of key monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Participating in cross functional projects which improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance department
* Invoice postings & transactional sales/purchase ledger work for the LNT Solutions business
* Ad-hoc project work
Requirements:
* AAT level 3 / 4 qualified or early stages of CIMA/ACCA
* Knowledge of Sage 200 and Xero preferred
* Keen to learn and develop with a 'can do' attitude
* Knowledge of Excel
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels
* Able to prioritise work based on deadlines and importance
* A proven problem solver - proactive in identifying business/financial issues, recommending solutions and in implementing agreed recommendations
* Attention to detail in all aspects of role - consistently produces work to the highest standard
* Demonstrate a desire to learn and progress
