A super opportunity has arisen for a Project/Account Manager to work for this well- established, successful and very friendly events and exhibition company.
The Project/Account Manager will oversee all the aspects of a project or client's requirements from handover to completion, from exhibition trailer roadshows programmes to indoor and outdoor exhibition stand builds.
Responsibilities of the Project/Account Manager:-
* To liaise directly with clients on their given projects and be expected to attend sites as required to provide support to operational teams and to handover jobs to clients.
* Budgetary control on events.
* Sub-contractor and labour management on projects.
* Involvement with projects from their inception to completion; meeting clients, finding solutions to fit their needs and budgets, in collaboration with senior management.
* Liaison with other event suppliers to assess their needs.
The successful applicant will have:-
* Strong organisation skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask and the confidence to make decisions.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
* Proven ability of successfully managing clients expectations.
* Events/exhibition/hospitality experience useful but not essential.
* This is a hands-on role requiring both on site and office work.
* Must be computer literate with experience of Word, Excel and Power Point.
* Must be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Good numeracy and literacy are vital.
* Marketing and social media experience is desirable.
* A full driving licence is required. (candidates must be aged over 21 years for insurance purposes).
* Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK without restriction.
Location
Midlands based with frequent UK and occasional European work.
Occasional stays way from base should be expected as well as some weekend work
