Position: Electronics Technician
Location: Emsworth, Hampshire
Salary: GBP20,000

Our client is a successful manufacturing producing a bespoke range of wireless communications products for an impressive international client base. The company as well as customising their products, re-engineering these, and offer a repair & warranty service. The company offers a friendly and relaxed working environment. The workshop where you'll be working is bright, clean and modern. The role would suit a bright and enthusiastic candidate who has a technical understanding of electronics and is a meticulous solderer.
The position - Electronics Technician.
* Testing assemblies in accordance with written test procedures and achieving production delivery targets.
* Diagnosing any faults on assemblies down to a component level.
* Working from engineering drawings.
* Soldering.
* Working to company health and safety requirements.
* Understanding and implementing necessary anti-static precautions.
* Following instructions as indicated on BOM and route cards
* Actively participating in the Company's Continuous Improvement Programme.
Requirements:
* Experience in soldering is essential.
* An electronics qualification ideal but not essential.
* Experience within electronic manufacturing and test environment ideal with a good understanding of test methodologies.
* Good familiarity with basic electronic components and their in-circuit functionality.
* Competent in interpretation of circuit diagrams, with respect to PCB assemblies.
* Competent fault-finding ability, down to component level, with minimal support.
* Familiar with basic test equipment - e.g. Digital Mustimeter's, Oscilloscope, bench Power Supplies etc.
* Possess good communication skills.
* Enjoy working as part of a close-knit team
