Electrical Design Engineer - Team Leader - Staffordshire - Permanent - GBP45-50k DOE plus flexible working hours, 30 days holiday, bonus scheme & private healthcare cover
Samuel Frank Associates is now recruiting for a Degree qualified Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing & stable Staffordshire based specialist engineering company. The successful Electrical Design Engineer will either have some experience of working as a team leader or is ready to make the step up to team leader.
You must be a British citizen, have no criminal record and not lived outside of the UK for more than 3 months in the last 5 years (this will enable the client to quickly put you through security clearance).
Key aspects of the Electrical Design Engineer role includes;
* Electrical requirements specification and analysis, hardware system design from scratch (ideally AutoCAD), hardware functional design & hardware specification experience
* Ideally led small Electrical engineering teams of 2-5 people
* Strong organisational and communication skills - essential
* Coordinating and supporting the manufacture and test of system components
* Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering - essential
The engineering aspect to the role will involve investigating problems on customer sites through site surveys and analysis of existing drawings, suggesting options to solve the problem then actually doing the electrical design work involved. This opportunity will definitely suit an experienced Electrical Design Engineer who gets excited by finding problems and then coming up with solutions!
